Roy, who the blazes are shockwave suspension, I have been around race bikes and specials for years and never heard of them.
I did the Ohlins forks on my mate Dallas's R1 a few weeks back without any problems, we used the seals as Dallas was told by who ever he talked to at Harris that they wouldn't sell him the seals as he wasn't quallified to do them.
Next time I see Steve or Lester I will mention this to them especially as I now have Ohlins forks myself and intend to do my own servicing.

As for your bikes behaviour it sounds as if the forks aren't set up equally, could be oil level/air gap, could be the adjusters bolted onto the damping rod at different heights.
