I've just had my forks rebuilt by Alan Hesselden (TT racer et al). He's about 5 mins from my house and resprung, revalved, and fully serviced a second set of Showa's for me. (Which I fitted during lunch...)
Total cost Parts + £30.
May be worth giving him a call, and getting an idea of if he can help. Although will be tricky getting hold of over the weekend as they're testing at Pembrey from tonight.
