People buy these limited production bikes as 'investments' initially, I suppose, but after a year or two of it sitting in the crate they realise that they couldn't use it - even if they then wanted to - because the first time they did it would knock ££££ off its value! There was an RC30 sold just a few months ago - no miles whatever - for around £15000. Just to 'ride' it home would cost the buyer around £5000 in my estimation. Catch 22! Red SPS - why are you 'looking for 888's?' You wanting to buy, or just after the photos? (I'm hankering after an MV, so mine may be for sale soon - I emphasise; 'may'.) |
