£600.00 service holy moses, £600.00 that is just rediculas, thanks lads for the knowledge. Just shows you learn somthing new everyday. I would be certainly be doing my homework on 4 valve Duke's. I would have thought more basic engine = cheaper running costs.

Misconstrued I think mate. All Dukes have got at least four valves. Rockhopper's talking about valves per cylinder, so his has got 8 valves and consumes more rockers than Lemmy does coke by the sound of it
