Well..got the tyre fitted to the marchesini magnesium rear wheel today....talon are going to knock up a gold sprocket for it as the carrier is a five bolt fixing (apparently its a corsa fixing).
Couldnt believe the weight difference !!!
The standard 888 wheels must be the worlds heaviest coz with the tyre on it takes 2 hands to lift (and its still a struggle!)..I can lift the new wheel/tyre combo quite easily with one hand !
So come on..let have some weight saving guesses for the new rear wheel setup..
Weight of the standard wheel/tyre/disc is 13.4kg...closest gets to pat themselves on the back !!
