| What do I need to know...
As I have now drifted over to the dark side, and will soon be tinkering with my new toy, it's got me to thinking about what I will need to do, what I should do, what to look for etc on a 999.
So I have a few questions.... what size pipes come on the 999R? as this is something that will probably get upgraded at some point.
What should I be looking at, anything that will go bang, or cause a problem, typical stuff like oil pressure switch etc, etc.
Also I have a list of things that I need to buy... any ideas, contacts/costs etc appreciated.
T/Day kit, including seat unit, probably black (as it's the colour of choice)
A tank probably... again, so I can get it painted black
Fuel pump? not such a big one, as I can use the current one.
Pipes as mentioned above, air filters, ECU, power commander?
Already got a slipper that I will be putting in, got brembo master cylinders also, and q/shifter
Rearsets? do I/don't I?
I guess hi-level screen also
Pierobon dash/clock mount etc
Anything else I have missed here?  |
