Paul (Bradders) for anybody that wants to give racing ago and already has a 600 or 620 Ducati in the family it is seriously worth considering giving it a go.

Cost of entries for the series is just over £500 from what I can gather, One front tyre and two rears should get you through the four rounds. A bellypan/catch tank will be required and investing in damaged tank/bodywork from a breakers would be worth while. Other than that its the normal costs associatted with trackdays, fuel for bike, fuel for car or van, food.

It will NOT cost huge amounts for those already with a bike, no matter what the rules, about £1200 to £1500 spread over a bit of time. And there will be pleanty of support in the way of tools, knowledge etc

Don't worry about having a very competitive bike from the off, initially there will be far more to come from the rider than the bike in a lot of cases. And if you decide you like it and the bike is starting to hold you back you can then spend a bit more on the bike.

I would love to get my hands on a couple of 600SS's and prep, one fully similar to how I raced my 748/916. About £2500 worth all in of bike, pipe, K&N Jet kit, brake hoses, reworked shock and forks, rearsets, SPS disc and do the other to a basic stage one about £1700 all in of bike, pipe, K&N and jet kit and see how much difference there is on the track.

Two bikes for about what my GSXR600 race bike is worth.
I would then have one to rent out, hopefully to Senna3.
