For posh nosh: Starter: Moules Farcie - Mussels stuffed with garlic, herbs and toasted bread crumbs and drizzled with olive oil Main course: Either Magret de Canard with Gratin Dauphinoise and Mange Toutes or Salmon baked in a sea salt crust with butter sauce (you crack the sea salt crust away before serving and it's not overly salty at all - just delicious) Dessert: None (except maybe creme brulee) more likely go for a really good selection of cheese Wine: Ravenswood Mendocino County Zinfandel For everyday, a really good quality Full English breakfast is one of my favourite meals of all time [Edited on 14-10-2004 by Jools] |
