| Just a point USPS isn't a courier service it's the United States Postal Service. How much do you trust the Royal Mail...? USPS also offer a tracked service. It's called Global Express Mail or something similar. It's the service Chris Kelley at California Cycleworks uses.
Also with the USPS/Royal Mail handling the package you stand a fair chance of avoiding customs duties. With a dedicated courier service UPS, Fed Ex etc you have no chance as they collect the charges on behalf of customs and then add their own profit on top... Swings and roundabouts I s'ppose...
It's good of Jason at Section 8 to refund your money but at the end of the day he's in a no-win situation. As you didn't receive the goods he either refunds and gains customer goodwill or he gets a paypal/credit card chargeback and probably charges on top.
