But you're looking at it from the point of view that if you're into bikes, you must like bike racing. Whereas probably 50% or more motorcyclists probably ride for pleasure, or as a cheap means of getting from A-B, not to do it at lightening speed.
What's the ratio of sports bikes to every other bike on the road?
My Mum drives a car, doesn't mean she wants to be an F1 driver, or have any interest in the sport.
