| Last time this year?
Yesterday....3 p.m.....The sun was shining, and I thought it's probably the last time this year.....
Never one to let the grass grow under my feet, I opened the garage, and backed out the red machine. A quick check on the petrol, and fire her up. Starts first time as always. I let her idle for a minute, then open her up and we're away, barely legal exhaust barking nicely.
A frantic half an hour later, I'm listening to the cooling down clicking of the engine as I wheel her back into the garage, the word "Mountfield" shining proudly on her side panel. See you again in the spring..... |
