DVD Recorder

I was in the market for a home cinema system in April this year and looked at what DVD recorders were available. You do get what you pay for and after much research I bought a Philips LX9000R DVD Recorder Home Entertainment System. What a piece of kit this is. Surround sound and two massive tube subwoofers. The sound is awesome. As for recording, it is excellent. Even when on 6hrs recording time the quality tops VHS any day. I record the full MotoGP, WSB and BSB onto one DVD+RW disc when I'm not about to view them. Best thing was the price - £500. I didn't get mine from comet but they have them at that price now.
