1. Get yourself a solicitor
2. Don't make any statements until you have one, and he is present then
3. Get a copy of the statements there and then, photocopy etc
4. See what the solicitor says, if you have a chance etc
5. If not, plead guilty straight away, courts like someone who admits they were in the wrong... plus the fine etc will be less, as they don't need to call witnesses, thus not passing the cost onto you for their unpaid day off work!
