So if the formula used to find the distance (s) which an object travels with a given initial velocity (u) and acceleration (a) for a given time interval (t) is;
s=ut+1/2at^2

This can be rearranged to get t where
s=ut+0.5(a)t^2
s=t(u+0.5at)
t=s/(u+0.5at)
t^2=s/(U+0.5a)
t= sqrt of (s/(U+0.5a))
Giving: t=[(2/a)(s-ut)]^0.5

This means that t is about quarter past four, u (speed) is....."Oh crap I'm in too hot again", distance is well bloody miles away from Oban, and all this gives rise to the inescapable conclusion that Mister DW jnr. and Mister TH will probably end up at the front...............again!
