Yes they are Legal for Class B, to my knowledge the only rider to have run them is Hugh Simpson

NO the 5-spokes ARE NOT Legal as they never came in the 600 or 620 models

Tha alloy is know where nar as soft so does not distort as easily with the later wheels.
Early wheels - the spoke gets wider where it meets the rim
later wheels - the spoke gets narrower where it meets the rim
