Side stand lean
My 749 seems to lean at quite an angle compared to other bikes I've owned. Without the 50 mile trip tp my nearest dealer can anyone tell me if this is the norm.
Do they stretch the bracket or come loose
Thanks
G

This is normal Big - G, you can actually pull the bike over the stand and put the bikes full weight on it no problem, i do it all the time to manouver it around tight spaces, saves loads of time.

.....and another one to think about is if you (or someone has wound up the preload). Back of bike sits higher and therefore the lean is greater.......

not much lean on the 2 I've been on. if you want I'll give you the number of degrees that it leans over, but it will have to wait till tomo ,

The lean is much greater than most jap bikes. Always feels a little bit worrying when your leaning the bike over onto the stand from the right hand side, u start thinking is the stand down ?

Just measured mine,...69cm.
Ohlins forks with a fair amount of preload.
