What music do you associate with certain things?

Well its late Friday night, BBQ and a bit (2 much) too drink and sat here listening to music and heard a few tunes that made me think of things.

First is the Chilli's 'Under the Bridge' which reminded me of The Alternative Tour de France trip and stopping in a petrol station in Spain after a mental blast over one of my fave roads and hearing the Chillis blasting out of the petrol station speakers at max volume, sweating like a pig in leathers.

Other tunes from that trip heard tonight were Sarah Mclachlan 'Silence', and
THe Who 'Won't get fooled again' reminded me of dancing on the tables in the bar using a brush as a guitar. Good times.

What music reminds you of good and bad times?

Bodyrockers "I like the way you move".
It reminds me of a lovely family holiday we had last year in Tuscany.Glorious weather, nice little villa with pool and stunning views, loads of local vino collapso,MotoGP at Mugello and that tune played every 5 mins on the radio.

Maybe off the track abit, but for some reason or other every time I'm on a longish ride I end up singing Werewolves of London in my helmet.

On a trip many years ago I had "Through the Barricades" in my head; trouble was that the trip was from my home to St trop in France.

Snap.....Pointer sisters & the sexiest woman I've ever been out with in my life
.....when we walked into a pub together blokes would literally come up to me and ask why she was going out with me ..... I would just say that she felt sorry for me , being so ugly..an all. Best three months of my life. I finished with her before she broke my heart. She was gobsmacked. Do I regret it now? Sure as hell I do!
