should the basket have movement? say 1 or 2 cm out?

Eh? You mean you can move your clutch basket in and out 2cm? Id say just a little not!

I think he means mm, I'd say so, I checked mine at the weekend and I can move the basket slightly, I checked against Lily's and her's moves also

We need to look at a schematic picture to see what the basket bolts to. I guess there should be "end float" but how much?

I think there are 8 bolts that secure the basket in place
