Any one any idea what type, size, code etc the battery will be on my 94 Superlight? where's the best place to get one from?

However, I've also sourced another option - a Varta battery originally intended for a BMW !

Sadly, the terminals are on the "wrong way around" eg -ve is on the left when looking down on the battery so I've had to extend both cable sets and the vent is on the other side, however - for much the same price as the 16AL/A2 you get 19Ah and a much higher cranking current.

It is taller than the OEM and needs the rubber tray removing inside the battery box but I hope these items are a small price to pay.
