As from 2007 your new polycarbonate UK DRIVING LICENCE will be produced in Switzerland by a company called Trüb in the town of Aarau.
You know what that means: your driving licence is going to cost you more because DVLC will have to pay for the higher swiss production costs - you have been warned by your own Swiss correspondent first before the rest of the UK wakes up to the news.
