| I made the same initial mistake when I fitted my DP rearsets on the 749. Less torque and a dab of threadlock did the trick - also have to echo the comments that if it was easy relocating the return spring then you've not put it together properly. It took weeks for the skin to cover my knuckles after I first did mine!!!  | |
