| The main differance is in the riding position.There is so much room in the seating area that it can take a while to find your "groove".The seat is'nt so high up,so initially it feels like the bikes fairing nose is too high and in your face.You soon get used to it tho.The handling/brakes are excellent and stuff like the clocks are much better on the newer bikes.A 749 will not have the same "raw" feeling as the 748,and the bikes are generally a lot quieter.Things change tho by bolting on a Termi system which gives the bike its growl back.
