| Registered Forum User BSB Star  Posts: 5,018 Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Chelmsford, Essex Mood: the rain in spain falls mainly on me! someone may well correct me if i'm wrong but i think the 2004 's' engine is the same as the standard 2005 model. from a looks point of view and riding point of view would definitely get the mono. if you plan to do some trackdays too the ohlins will be an advantage. dont have any dealings with any of the dealers, but would certainly not give my business to anyone thats makes me hire a demo!  speak to the dealers and see who will give you the best deal. simple. after that with regard to servicing there are plenty of recommendations on this board but from my personal experience i would rather travel 200 miles and take it to an expert than risk it with some clown locally. either way hope you get it soon and enjoy.
