Hopefully my DD bike will be out next year in my favoured Yellow and Black paint scheme, does that mean it will be up to date ??

Its so 1960's that it might just work, particularly at the back end of the year with the new autumnal colours becoming more mainstream and favouring the "waspish" look.

I'm surprised you are considering any racing colours other than Silver, (a hallmarked solid silver tank would be nice?!) or Royal Blue at a pinch.

I thought British Racing Green would be most suitable? Silver is a little Germanic.
