You mean the ends of the lines are straight?

Yes, being angled will make a better fit but I don't think it will stop them being fitted.

There are two holes at the top of the caliper, one should be for the brake line and the other for the bleed screw. You can take both of these out and switch them round however you please - I had to do this on a pair of 916 caliper I bought from eBay as the bleed nipples had been fitted to different holes on either side!
