| Well...not quite, but we did experience the same storm yesterday....and actually very similar events (minus the bird!). I was getting ready to leave the house when there was an almighty bang...again like you say, more of an explosion that typical loud lightning. I went outside expecting to see a house in pieces or a car in flames...but nothing as dramatic. Fcuk me it was loud though!  | |
