I've seen it done on a 996 SPS, it required a bip subframe (steel), which was then modified to take the sps ecu, which I think is a bit bigger than a normal 996 one. The subframe stayed put all the time, seat units being swopped as neccesary. Appears the job is quite easy if you have access to a mig. Hope that helps
