Thanks Red Leader

Many thanks to Kev, for leading the way home today.

After a lovely start to the day (and also the bonus of meeting up with afore said young gent - and also Webby & Dibble), we headed off to the sale at Cranleigh today. Roads a bit damp & nasty little shower en-route - but we got there.

Leaving for home, after a huge hailstorm whilst the bikes were parked up, Webby & Dibble took the sensible option of heading the direct route back.
I was prepared to toddle off on my own in the other direction - as I hate riding in the wet (as some of you already know - my riding deteriorates to an alarming degree!), when Kev - Red Leader kindly offers to ride back the whole way with me. He kept me in his mirrors the whole way back - and on a couple of occasions could have left me for dust (or should that read 'squelch'?)

Just to say - once again, many thanks to Kev - that to me, is what the whole club is about. Mates helping one out. (even if you do get wet & cold while doing it!)

Thanks Kev!

CK

Well we were out so where was everyone else? Even though we experienced every type of weather from sunshine through to hailstorms-twice, it was still good to get out. Cheers CK , Red Leader, Dibble and Henners (by car), it were a laugh. See told you the trackday last year would come in useful

Whose was the red 748R up at Newlands Corner this morning? Anyone?

By the way, just went down to the garage to clean bike - and it suddenly appeared to have a 'low profile' rear tyre!

Nasty sharp piece of glass stuck straight in the centre - flipping flat tyre

Mr Tyreman - AK is taking the wheel off now - can he bring it in his lunch hour tomorrow, to be fixed?

C

ps - Webby or Dibble - have you got tyremans mob no? - I misplaced it!!

My pc threw a wobbler on friday and rejected its lan card. Consequently didn't know you lot were going there until late this afternoon
Shame, as that place is only 1/2 a mile from my house so I could have popped down to meet oyu, or you could have all dropped in for a cuppa

May I ask if someone could U2U me the details of the tyreman too please. I need a pair for the 996 shortly (normally use Guildford Tyres or Raodwheel at Bagshot).

Cheers,
John.
p.s. if the weather is good I hope to give the 4S a run out next Sunday to meet you lot

Hi John

You can contact tyreman via the u2u as he's a member of the club. Gives excellent service and is careful as well!! Otherwise try Red Leader who will deffo have the number.

As to next sunday, probably meet up with the Monster lot for a slow(no offence CK) run over to Popham. That's only if the weather looks ok, after yesterday perhaps its a bit too early.
