My 4 year old boy came up to give me a kiss goodnight tonight. His name is Bede and he's a little cutie (but parents all say that don't they ... aaaanyway) .. so he climbs into my lap and sings this little song.

No prompting or anything, just what he felt like doing at the time ...

"I love you, You love me
We're best friends like friends should be
With a great big hug and a kiss from me to you
Won't you say you love me too"

<sniff, sniff>

He even gave me the hugs and kisses at the appropriate moment. You'd think that after four of them now this sort of thing would wear off .....

If I get the tickets tomorrow o.k. - he'll be at the GP with me and you can all testify to it....

I was treated to a very cynical rendition of the Barney song by my boys (14 and 11) the other day. It has no place on this particular thread, as I respect tp-996's feelings!

They're very cute still at 4 years old.

My little 7-month old started nursery yesterday...bit of a wrench leaving her there I can tell you. And when i went to pick her up, blimey, her smile was the biggest ever!

(still, means i get the days to myself again!)
