Well, it seems that some people have kept to the 'original spirit' and have only spent 2500-ish, while others have pushed the boat out a very very long way !
Roll on an 'economy class' and a 'business class' for next year

So far my 600SS still running standard 583 with D/J kit, K&N and a Slip-on race can puts out 51.5 bhp owes me £2000 if I don't include the T200 lap timer and the Stack rev-counter which I didn't run at the begining of the season but I am now employong to try and build a gearing data base for others to be able to use as a guide.
Bike is fitted with a 916 race fairing and a original 916 headlight unit, rear sets are cheap home made jobbies.
So far I have done trackdays at Llandow, Snetterton, Brands GP and Cadwell and have raced in the DD rounds at Cadwell Woodlands, Castle Combe and Snetterton all on one set of Diablos, one lot of oil and one filter. All are due to be replaced for Donigton as we have reached half way in the series.
I started with a single disc front end and have now upgraded to a twin disc which is included in my £2k price and I have the original setup as a spare as well as the original noisey engine that came in the bike as a spare.
