Where\'s Everton now? (Rugby related)
Oh dear, oh dear!

Quote: "ONLY ENGLAND CAN WIN THE SLAM NOW" - Everton, Feb 2006 - like F**K they can!!!!!

Does my memory serve me correctly, wasn't it Everton who said some derogatory remarks about Scotland's ability on the rugby field? Is a grovelling apology in order, or are us Jocks simply gonna have to mention this on every post the Everton puts up for the foreseeable future?

Be a man Everton, admit that you were STUFFED good and proper yesterday!!!!!!!

Did we lose?

:P:P:P

I turned off when it was obvious that Alan Lewis wasn't going to award England an obvious penalty try. You cannot collapse a scrum and have it reset under penalty caution three times that close to the try line - it should have been a penalty try.

How come - under almost the same conditions - Wales were awarded a penalty try in their match against Scotland?? You have to have consistency.

I suggest a celtic conspiracy - the home nations have never recovered from England becoming worthy WORLD CHAMPIONS - they will use any avenue to prevent us winning

Yes you can....

But you can't laugh any louder than I laughed when the Scots stuffed the French.

There was only one consolation at the weekend and that was being in Dublin.

I didn't have tickets for the match, I was just on a weekend visit to stay with my son who lives and works over there. He lives in Waterloo Road which is just a couple of streets away from Landsdowne Road so the whole area he lives in was rammed with rugby fans on Sunday.

Naturally, being 10 minutes walk from Dublin's city centre, it would've been rude not to go up there and lash a fair few pints of Guiness down - so there we were in the alley outside O'Donoghues having a 'lively' debate with the hordes of Welsh fans who were over. One of the things I love about Rugby is that you can still give people some banter and walk away unscathed. In a drunken moment I said to a stocky welshman that had definitely served his time in the front row for some team or other "No offence taff, but I hope you get well and truly tanked by the Irish tomorrow"

31 - 5....Oh how I laughed!

Don't get me wrong, I've nothing agin the Welsh, it's just that when it comes to Rugby if I can't see England win, then seeing Wales lose is the next best thing

Do you want me to remind you the scores?
In the same condition, France did better. Well, not as bad as England
