Cadwell Full Turn 1 - Coppice
Who takes it flat out? Not even a slight roll off I mean?

Do you?

Do the BSB boys? I couldn't imagine that they didn't have to brake there!

I'll try and find that link to that site showing the BBC BSB coverage videos where Parrish did his crap commentary and some BSB pro loony rode the lap prior to the real race coverage beginning.

That'll show you if they back off. Can't imagine they do much with their suspension setups and hot slicks.

Having said that....even WeeJB had to back off yesterday on his methanol powered CB500 in a hails-storm that swept thru the valley!!!!!

Nutters!!!!!

I'm sure I did a couple of times on the 675, but it's too quick on the 620. If you find yourself on the kerb on the right then you'll not get far enough left for Charlies 1 without dropping too much cornerspeed.

I'm sure it can/is done, but I'm not good enough to do it. Yet.

I always slow down too much for that corner, I dont brake but roll off enough to get some weight on the front for the turn in then back on the power to get round and up the hill.

dont think there is any point in going in too hot as you end up wide for the right hander at the top.

i'm no cadwell expert and there are plenty of them. the super fast boys do go in there pushing the front very hard.

i'll be keeping an eye on this thread.. i could do with some cadwell tips!

It was flat out on the CB500, but even that took some bottle.

I was knocking it off on the Tango Queen too - everytime telling myself off, but its one of those bottler corners.

There is no way on earth that BSB would go through there on the stop. They'd end up in Horncastle!

Maybe you should ask Geoff? He's got to be one of, if not the quickest DSC'ers at Cadwell.

Thats got to be one of the best corners on the curcuit, I have vivid memories from last years DSC TD Thinking I would give it my best shot ,beging the bike to turn up the hill having gone in a little ensusiastic drifting further to the right than one wants to,then finding the right hander at the top of the hill even harder to pull round because of it . Dont we just love it. Can catches a lot of people out though especially on cold tyres . 4D
