I know a few folks running on Diablos which they like but having chased Tantrum around Cadwell on his on the standard tyres, there isn't a great deal wrong with them....

The Scorpions that come as standard on the Numpty are brilliant tyres, I've heard that they're the same carcass as the Diablo, which has won many fans through the DD race series so when i wear out mine (done 2k miles and they dont look worn much at all) I'll go with whichever comes out cheaper of the two from Steve the TyreMan at Wraysbury Tyres. Get a good DSC discount there too

Cant fault the Scorpions in the wet or dry, and you get pretty good mileage from them too, i was so happy with them that i put them on again after the first set wore up.
I know several people have tried other tyres but i dont know how they compare ( whats your thoughts KeefyB ) as far as cost goes i think the Scorpions are a bit more expensive than others, lucky for me not a problem though as the company i work for get 40% discount at a local dealer as we put all our vehicles through there + i dont get charged the VAT .

Hey Rushjob, how you doin, they were some good laps we had chasing each other round Cadwell

When my first pair of Scorpions wore out I tried to get another pair but the price (at that time!) was expensive. The rear alone was £150.I bought some cheap Metzlers from Busters that were ok when new,but wore out quickly and then effected the bikes handling.
The bike now wears Diablo's,they seem to suit the bike really well, and I'm well chuffed with them.
