My Brief report from my Brands weekend Only a brief report for now, not enough time to go into the full 3 days at the moment, but if I have get bored while out in India I will look at adding more For me it was a lot better start to the 2014 DD season than it was for 2013. Last year I crashed out on my first qualifying lap of the year which then placed me on the back of the grid for both races. Then in the first race as I tried to make a charge through the grid I nearly had another crash on the start line as I made a mighty attempt to avoid a prostrate Brummy Dave Jenkins. Riding a bit worse for wear on a bike with to many bent parts I was just glad to finish the races. This year while still riding a unchanged bike from last year my main focus in qualifying was not to crash and not to start from the back of the grid, so riding slower than I had on the Friday practice day I wasn't surprised to find myself down in 16th on the grid. Can't say I was really happy with any of my races, I felt my first starts to the red flagged races were my best. Race 2 was certainly my worse race and Race 3 my best But all in a marked improvement over last year I would say roll on Cadwell, I just hope my work trip to Mumbai is sorted out soon and gets me back in time for the next round, although it will mean I am unlikely to find the time to sort out some issues with the new bike Checkout the Desmo Due Paddock on Facebook |
