awesome report - Cadwell

Test day, I spent the test day pretty much on my own on track, I didn't see any other DD bikes and so had nobody else to gauge my speed on, I knew that I wasn't going fast, I found the whole circuit hard and was a bit scared really, my riding did improve from my first session but I knew I was very slow.

Qualified 7th! I felt that I had gone pretty fast compared with the test day and was a bit surprised to be 6 seconds slower than Chris adn about 4 seconds slower than Dallas, and worst still

Cadwell is not one of my favourite tracks, I've never done well there in the past, through my championship into the fence at the hairpin in 2010, It's a lovely place but not for me. I think I'll watch next year.

Got a good start in race 1 and got up to 2nd, couldn't catch Dallas (who went on to win) Chris Clarke and James Gerrard both came past but managed an awesome overtake up the inside of James at Chris curve on the last lap and took 3rd.

Race 2 was a wet but drying track, Dallas and Chris didn't race, I got a flying start and was soon following Phil Wilcock. About 1/2 way through the the race Phil had a slide at the hairpin which I knew would upset his rhythm for the next few corners and decided that this was my best chance to take the lead which I did and went on to take the win

Race 3 didn't go as well, I got a not bad start but just couldn't match the pace of Chris or Dallas I was Behind Ghost again but thought I could take him for another 3rd, until James Gerrard and Steve Newman came past both of us, tagging Phil as they went, Phil picked up some pace which I couldn't match. Steve Newman out braked himself out of the race at park and I went on to take 5th.

Awesome.

So 3rd, 1st and 5th, not bad for my bogie track.

Well done fella, 3 repeats of the last race at Pembrey will do me just fine!

So long as we don't have a repeat of Pembrey qualifying

Defo not, don't think my leathers will ever be properly clean again!

I hoping in a selfish way it will be Andy's bike I'll be using again. I'll just have to wait and see if it sells or not. Hoping if not I can rent it again.

I would like to buy the bike but at the moment I need another car and to finish my Race 888. That is why by Carbon front wheel is up for grabs in the For sale section!
