1, Sort Kev Palmer a decoded ECU and toggle Ignition switch for his 1000SS in time for him to take it to Portimao

2. Reprogram a ECU for Paul P turning a 620 ECU into a 800 Monster one and turning off the immobiliser

3, Try and get to the bottom of Wayne Thomas's misfire

and now another

4, following Phil the Drills trackday at Brands on Monday his bike has turned into a single cylinder so now requires a replacement ECU

With Kev P's bits sorted I have been tidying up Wayne Thomas's harness off his Class A bike today, he only managed one lap over the 3 days at Brands after suffering a constant misfire.

I spent sometime at the meeting trying to eliminate the problem, swapping things like the ECU, TPS, AIR Sensor, Engine pickup and with Wayne swapping the Injectors and Coils we just couldn't cure the misfire.

The Harness is now stripped of its lighting circuit, indicator wiring, tail lighting and speed sensor wiring and a few other bits and I have found what looks to be a broken power wire to the horizontal Injector

Will have to continue with this either Sunday or Monday as tomorrow I'm off to fill up the back of my car with a few more Class A spares

Almost there

Dropped off Phil's ECU with Pete B
Dropped Paul Ps ECU off for him to collect from Moto Rapido
Wayne's Harness should be back with him tomorrow, the side stand and clutch switch wiring now shortened and simplified

And the pile of bits collected in the back of the car have turned into something a tad more useful

You're too kind to them Kev!

It's not the size of the dog in the fight that matters, but the size of the fight in the dog.

Been working on my own bikes over the last couple of days including the bike pictured above which is now almost complete and ready to run, as such it will be a good spare for next season

Which means I will soon have a unraced 620 Engine, Injectors, Decoded ECU and loom for sale

I've done a few more things to the Multistrada 620 but with what it will cost to get properly sorted and the current market values it's likely that I will end up breaking it.

Class B bike is waiting for its new owner, it wasn't charging after Brands when we robbed it of a few bits and in doing so we managed to disconnect one of the wires to the regulator/rectifier so with it reconnected all is good.

Might have to pay a visit to Alex George's (next to H-Cafe) tomorrow to take advantage of their 25% off and grab a battery, chain and oil for next years race bike

Got it running a few weeks ago and now thanks to Dallas it's looking more like my 2014 DD bike

Cheers Simon, will be very similar to my 2014 race bike.
Apart from acting as a spare it will hopefully be an experimental bike
I have several shocks I have modified to fit, including Ohlins, WP, Nitron and Penske
And will have a couple of fork options to try
One set similar to yours which will be using 916 internals
2nd set will have the Mupo cartridge kit in them that didn't work at all for Dallas in 2012
and then a set of ST3 forks with a FG piston/shim kit in them

Also want to try slightly different fork spring rates such as 0.85 / 0.875 / 0.90 kg/mm

All I really need is a great big workshop

Use Test days for testing and could even enter the second bike in the lightweight/MT class
