749S Termi s

Someone is thinking of buying my Termis from my 2003 749S but I wouldnt have a clue what they are worth as I got them with the bike. I want to give him a fair offer, so what are they worth ?
Thanks

I'm trying to sell a full 2-1-2 set for an '05 S and would like to get $1,400. $2,195 new.

There seemed to be a lot of widely varying prices quoted on here for this. I was charged £1100 for the 2003 749s Asymetric system (with ECU) - fitted. I have no doubt someone will be along to tell me different, but that was waht I paid at Italia in Oct 2004. The implication was that I was getting a bit of a deal on that too.

That reminds me - must go and chase up that replacement ECU that was on back order!

Brand new you're looking around the £1000 mark for the assymetric kit. I don't think anyone else is knocking them out cheaper than that. Second hand they go for up to £700.

Er yeah - ive been chasing this about for over 12 months and ive come to the conclusion that "the worth of a thing is measured by the want of a thing " and every Termi Ive chased on e bay has been wanted by about 50 other people.
Ive seen second hand units going for over £700 and new ones for over £1000 !
They are quite hard to get second hand so let your mate know what a huge favour your doing him by selling it to him.
The sound alone is worth every penny (as you already know.)
