Ducati 998r on 29k miles, not a garage queen so it’s not fresh out of the factory flawless. The bodywork carries the marks you might expect on a 20 year old bike, that has been ridden 29k miles but well looked to keep it performing well and reliably.
Currently fitted with renthal quick change sprocket, DP carbon hugger, DP carbon airtubes with in tube air filters, carbon termis, high screen & sidestand bypass kit. Various Titanium Fasteners such as rear wheel nut, front mudguard bolt, disc bolts.
Featured in two wheels only (TWO) magazine many years ago and has carried me around Europe on some memorable road trips and to WDW in 2010. Very little used between the trip to WDW in 2010 and 2012, then put away in the Garage. Recommissioned in early 2021. Only ridden a little since then.
I also have a considerable amount of parts and panels I have accumulated over the years “just in case”, but thankfully never used. The bike has never been thrown down the road but it has had a couple of bird strikes, Pheasants who think they can get into the air and be up and away before a Ducati 998r makes contact with them.
Bike First registered in April 2002, I bought the bike when it was about 12 months old. I’ve owned this bike for just short of 20 years and have agonised over selling it for a long time.

That includes the Bike, original baffled cans with matching ECU, Ducati Performance Paddock stand, Ducati performance bike cover & all the standard fasteners (replaced with Titanium) that I can find. I don’t have the plaque that came with the bike, I think the person I bought the bike from kept that as momento of his ownership.
