Question Ducati 851

Hi all i have one Ducati 851 Strada 1990 frame number is ZDM851S3001104 can you help me to identify my bike


and there is a welded plate on the frame with the frame number

What do you need to identify? The age or the model type, or something like that?

Hi againneed to find out about the bike there is a welded small plate there the frame number is in front of the frame and
i just wonder why engine number is ZDM851W4B*001096

The only guaranteed way is to contact the factory directly.You can do this over email to: contact_us@ducati.com


They will need to see proof of your ownership, usually in the form of a picture/scan of the official registration document for your country, showing your name and the bike details.


If they have any history - for example if it was a race bike, or a special edition - then they can confirm this, but otherwise they may not have many records given the age!
