Borgo Panigale (Bologna, Italy), 30 May 2024 – Ducati launches the
Futa All Road, a versatile, comfortable
gravel e-bike based on the road e-bike.
The All Road is designed for
long rides on both asphalt and
dirt roads. A bike for those who want to choose their own route, at every fork in the road, for those who don't want to give up the freedom to escape the traffic and want to enjoy scenic routes and long climbs, without stopping where the road does. A fast but comfortable electric bike, with technical solutions designed to guarantee
stability even off asphalted stretches.
Endurance and adventure with an elegant look The frame has an endurance sports geometry. Like the Futa AXS, the road version from which it is derived, the All Road features
a motor encased in the hub, a battery integrated in the down tube, a livery with GP red accents and a visible
carbon look, in perfect Ducati style.
Carbon fibre monocoque: a very light bike The
UD carbon fibre monocoque frame stands out for choices that hint at
aerodynamics, and therefore speed, without sacrificing comfort. The compact rear stay, with lowered sheaths, makes the bike more comfortable, generating less aerodynamic resistance.
The Futa All Road weighs just 12.4 kg (in size M).
Engine and battery The engine, located on the rear hub, is the
FSA System HM 1.0 with 250W and
42Nm of torque: it boasts a smooth and natural power delivery and has 5 assistance levels. The FSA app, available for iOS and Android, quickly and intuitively displays riding statistics, remaining battery life and charge status.
Above 25 km/h, when assistance is lost as required by European regulations,
the resistance of the motor is almost imperceptible and pedalling remains snappy and fluid.
The 250Wh FSA battery is perfectly integrated into the down tube and an optional
range extender with a further 250Wh is available, for even greater distances.
Electronic gearshift, carbon rims The bicycle is equipped with the
SRAM Rival eTap AXS groupset, characterised by
powerful hydraulic brakes with 160 mm discs, a precise and responsive
2x12-speed wireless electronic gear shift and Vision AGX 30 wheels with
carbon fibre rims.
The
FSA K-WING AGX Carbon handlebar , designed for gravel, features sculpted contact points for improved ergonomics. Comfort and ease of riding are ensured by a 10° forward bend, so as to have a more natural wrist and wider elbow position, which facilitate breathing.
The flared shape of the handlebar curve increases control and aerodynamics. Cable routing is fully integrated.
The tyres are
Vittoria Terreno Dry, ideal for mixed road and gravel use. The
differentiated section between the front (38 mm) and rear (35 mm) guarantees riding safety, comfort on all terrains and absorption of roughness.
The saddle is a
Selle Italia SLR Boost.
Bikepacking set included To extend the adventure in the saddle without giving up any of the necessities, the Futa All Road is enhanced by a bikepacking set, consisting of
three Skuad saddle, handlebar and frame bags . Made of fully waterproof fabric, they maximise storage space without compromising manoeuvrability, with secure fasteners and a contoured design.
The Ducati e-bike range This model extends the Ducati range, which already includes the
Futa AXS e-road, and the
Powerstage RR (full carbon Enduro),
TK-01RR (aluminium Enduro) and
MIG S (all mountain) e-mtbs.
The Futa All Road will be produced in
four sizes, from S (53) to XL (59). Deliveries will begin across Europe in June 2024. The bike can be ordered from the Ducati dealer network and online at
shop.ducati.com.
Ducati will exhibit its models at the Eurobike fair in Frankfurt between Wednesday 3 and Sunday 7 July (pavilion 12, stand C 20).
