Round 15 for the Ducati Lenovo Team in Catalunya

• At Montmelo, the first match point for the constructors championship. This would be the sixth consecutive MotoGP title for the Borgo Panigale manufacturer, the seventh in the Premier class

The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya hosts the fifteenth race of the MotoGP calendar, with the first match point available for the constructors championship. For Ducati, this would be the sixth consecutive seal, the seventh overall for the Borgo Panigale manufacturer. Barcelona has always been a historic track for Ducati: Loris Capirossi took his first Premier Class victory here in 2003 aboard the Desmosedici, followed by Stoner in 2007, Dovizioso in 2017, Lorenzo in 2018, and Bagnaia in 2024 (both Catalan GP and Solidarity GP).

Home GP and two MotoGP victories at this track (2014 and 2019) for Marc Márquez, the undisputed leader of the current season with seven consecutive double Sprint/Race victories, now seeking his 2025 11th victory. This impressive streak of positive results gives Ducati the chance to close the manufacturer battle at the end of the Saturday's race.

Increasingly confident in the changes made to the Desmosedici over the final race weekend, Francesco Bagnaia is also back at work with the first guys in his viewfinder. On a track that perfectly showcases his riding characteristics, the podium is a goal.

For both, the appointment is on Friday September 5th, at 10:45 am local time, for the first free practice session.
