Latest purchase

I finally managed to get hold of the bike I had always wanted.

It is a superb bit of kit and at a reasonable price. The wife is not too happy with 4 bikes, hey-ho.

Very Nice

That looks very neat and tidy!

Nice one. I've still got the "selfish" mans version buried in the garage somewhere:D

Not used it for 4 years, keep meaning to get it recommissioned but never get round to it.

I think I've got a pair of tyres that you can have, part worn racetecs IIRC. I'll check next time I'm in the most untidy garage in the whole of Yorkshire.

Get in touch if you are ever in the area.

Ray,

The tyres would be great, the ones fitted are not the best.

I will drop you a line next time I am up North.

Cheers,

Looks like showroom condition as well.

Very tidy indeed. Has the sidestand got an extension on it? Or is it just the photo angle?

It has a sort of club foot addition. It is quite a tidy modification.

Back from the Sammy Miller Museum Toy Run and the bike is cleaned, polished and waxed ready for the next dry-ish day.

I decided to get my spare 916 shock a refresh, it was looking extremely battered and had no paint on the spring. So I got Teut at TW Suspension Tech to give it a quick going over.

Happy with the end results, not as blingy as the 888 shock full rebuild redcoat that he did for me but still a vast improvement on what it looked like.

All done and back with me, all ready for some Michelin RS tyres:
