Whats wrong with this picture? |
Looks like the screws have seized in the posts and one of the posts has snapped when the screws have been forced. I always used copperslip and I think the torque value is only about 5nm, or just "nipped up" |
Yep spot on, think someone must have used threadlock and a couple of the bolts rounded. A light tap with a centre punch was not the way to go apparently  Hence the need for a new one. |
MPL do some nice clutch plates - I have one in my 900ss: http://stores.ebay.co.uk/mpltuningpa...?_fsub=8532705 as do Oberon: http://www.oberon-performance.co.uk/...ates_Copy.html and MANY others... |
Yeh they know how to charge dont they :o |
:D Fix it |
Turn it into a 4 poster like the race ones, might need to upgrade the remaining 4 springs though |
Drilled, tapped and counter sunk the back of the hub and shreadlocked a m6 high tensile bolt in. Talked to a Ducati mechanic who said he had done a couple and they were still going. Will use until a good one turns up. |
just noticed these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ducati-Mon...1516165591 87 |
