DD 583 bike wanted

I'm looking at racing in the DD next year in the B class. I don't have the all the technical know-how to take a road bike and get it set up for the track so am hoping to buy an exisiting DD'er that's race prepped. Anyone thinking of jacking it in or moving over to the "easier-to-ride" 620 class?:)

Who told you that  Completely different animals, I found the 583 easier to get on with though.

Anyway, there's a few bikes for sale if you have a look back through a few pages, good luck :)

Yeah, Fil2's 583 is the perfect tool for the job - and not only is it very well prep'd, it's also sickeningly pretty (for a yellow one).

Good luck.

You may not want to run the risk of a protest by running Fil2's bike next year not with the current mood in the paddock. There are quite few bikes out there which are not quite within the rules. Maybe not performance enhancing but if people start the protests which I am sure we will see more of next year, then best to be squeeky clean.

Frame mods

Grib 20-Oct-2006 14:26

Sub frame? As I read it, you can modify the sub frame, which to me means removing parts, adding parts etc etc as you need. So long as it's all the same material.
