RSVR 1000 v 748s Gents, Should I stay or should I go ? 2003 RSVR 1000 black or keep my 2000 748s yellow ? Whay would you do ? Delooney |
Of course it was. BUT, Straight swap has been offered to me: My 748s and my RS250 (see avitar) for the RSVR1000 ? Delooney just off out to fetch a curry... [Edited on 22-10-2005 by Delooney] |
you need to be tall to fit on a RSVR |
I had a ride on a RSVR haga rep recently and to be honest I prefer my 749. I felt really on top of the aprillia rather than part of it which I get from the ducati. I didnt ride the bike for long so didnt really get time for the feel. So Im probably not worth listening to :) One of my mates who rides and r1 has also been for a spin on both the duke and aprillia and he said the duke felt better, but that was on a 749 not 748. tricky. |

Huh? Your two current bikes for a 03 MilleR? I say NO!! What year is your 748S and your RS anyway? |
The RS is an '02 plate, 7500 miles and showroom. The 748s is a 2000 plate, 7100 miles, with 50mm termis etc. The RSVR is a black Haga rep, 2003 plate 7000 miles and mint. I'm 5'9", and your right it does look a tall bike. Delooney. |
I think you'd want some money as well - in YOUR direction !!! |
If the Ducati fits you then the RSV wont , my 998 fits perfic and the RSV is made for Monkey shaped people well the one i tried was anyway :D:frog: |
U2U Dodgy,he went from a RSV `02 (I think?) to a 749 and he`s short:lol: |

Hmmmm..... a Haga rep, is worth a few more. Previous model RSVR's have been quite unexpensive in the second hand market everywhere, that's why i say don't do it. I had a 2001 RSVR for three or more years and liked it alot, but i don't think i would make that trade. I didn't find the RSVR that tall, never had a problem with that and i'm about your heigh. But give it a try on the RSVR and see how it feel for you. |
