Holbeach have recommended Metzeler Racetec Interact K2 F&R.......

Anyone used these??

Chef 20-Sep-2012 21:02

In the end I have gone for Pirelli Diablo Superbike Pro Slicks - needs warmers -similar grip to K3's so work with std chassis & suspension - but will last 2-3 days I hope on an inters std rider like me but they are SLICKS!!! and therefore sexy as :-)

Never used then before - will report back

be careful .. slicks need to be kept at temperature

you can't just ride around like a road tyre .. you've got to keep them hot by riding hard

let them cool and the grip will drop dramatically

consider9ing slicks if I do the Hottrax Spain trip, as the BSB tyres currently fitted will be dead after the Odiham day end of the month so need new anyway. MAybe I can find some part worns...

There a set of Ntec D211 slicks on fleabay now paul. I will be shodding in new mtorsport slicks in endurance rear and medium front

Chef 24-Sep-2012 12:56

Thanks for the advice

These are not 'true' slicks

Compound is more road focussed so designed to people who want slicks without the wear rate or added suspension complexity etc etc

A bit of bling really!
