Racing in January anyone ?

Moped Madness, Lydden January 07.
From the Bemsee site...

Oh No! Its Back....
Moped Madness at Lydden Hill.
Saturday 20th January 2007

Teams of 3
£150 a Team
Practice + 3 Hours Endurance
Le-Mans Style Start
Trophies and Cult Status for Winners (We said CULT!)
50cc Machines Encouraged
Cheating Positively Encouraged
Go on... You Know You Want To!!!

Download the three forms below and return your entry and payment details to the BMCRC office.

Anyone going, I might try and get a little team together, and you don't need an ACU licence so you could get some civillians involved.

The Regs

Yeah I saw that thread on VD and it looked pretty good.

Especially as I've canned the Plum Pudding idea now.

I reckon it would be a laugh, just not sure I could afford it - how much is it?

CK 28-Nov-2006 15:21

TP you fool!:p

"£150 a Team " - so only £50 a head between 3 of you - plus of course doing the mandatory 'borrowing' of local nerds scooter to 'test it' ;)

would love to see some of the DD'ers having a go at this:lol:

Sorry, trying to do 18 gazillion things at once!

So that's the cost to enter ... who has a scooter we could use etc? I don't want to/can't invest money into a machine for a one-off sort of thing.

It'd be a giggle though - trouty is doing it.

HMM i have a Scoot gagging for this , but 3 hours on one piston may be pushing it a bit, what is the longest straight at lydden?????

Tonio600 28-Nov-2006 15:52

sounds briliant

TP 28-Nov-2006 15:52

Dunno for sure Glyn but it's not a big circuit:

Ozz 28-Nov-2006 15:57

May not be big but on a scooter that must be a 1 hour lap surely?

Shame you need an ACU licence as my mate deals in scooters and has loads hanging around. I would have even raced probably!

Tonio600 28-Nov-2006 15:58

Ozz...
