oil filters this amybe a bit of a daft question but i need to change my oil filter and was wondering what make to go for are the k and n ones worth the extra cash or is it best to stick to a genuine ducati one cheers |
Hello mate, Hows that 74......Oh hang on a minute. 853 eh?;) I have used the K and N ones on my bike. Seem to be fine. [Edited on 8-9-2005 by DC] |
I've always gone for standard Ducati filter. Can't see that one with a red stripe on it will make you and faster! ;) Ade. |
I bought some K&N ones to use on the race bike because they have the predrilled nut on the end - but wouldn't have bothered otherwise. If you want to be real cheap, the Ducati oil filter is exactly the same as a Shitroen 2CV - get one from Halfrauds for about 3 quid. |

The Ducati ones are cheap enough, aren't they? |
About £3 - £4 at last purchase, last month. |
