Within the rules? A class B bike is currently on ebay, in the description.... MY DUCATI 600cc 1998 DESMO DUE RACE BIKE 600 CLASS B. IT IS READY TO RACE , ENGINE CAMS ADVANCED. From samjonespurple Is that a permitted alteration? 1.6.19 Camshaft No modifications are allowed to that originally fitted. pete "Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power"...53 horse power should do it |
Yes Just put the belts on a tooth out and you can advance or retard the cams, along with bend the valves. If a bike ever came out of the factory without one of the cams either retarded or advanced I would be very suprised |
Wouldnt this be cam timing related |
Yes Paul. either offset keys or adjustable cam pulleys |
is a digital gear read out display within the rules? I never know which gear I'm in! I dont think it is, but worth checking with the grey beards! |
If you don't know which gear you're in then you're doing something wrong!! |

Glad to hear its not just me that never knows what gear I'm in |
Loads of riders have no idea what gear they are in! (Gucci aside Ghost ;) ) But...do you need more than 'up one, down three, up two ' etc.. I do but I analyse everything ;) |
I never know what gear I'm in... I only figured out after the first season on my Monster that it was a five speeder! :o Tried one of those dinky ones that you program based on speed and rpm years ago. They don't work on the track... as you downshift, by the time it's figured out what gear you're in, that info is useless because you're already into the corner. I mostly just count downshifts. |
