Ducat1.com, has anyone used them?

These people advertise on fleabay and have got a set of stainless steel clutch springs which I would like, to replace my rusty ones.

Is the seller any good and does anyone know if the stainless springs give a different tension than standard?

Cheers

Greetings neighbour. I live in Chavland aka Lancing!!!

Don't know anything about Ducati1 but try Stuart at Spareshack. I got a set of springs for a tenner. I didn't notice any difference in spring tension, only less rust.

I've used them before. Top service from what I can remember.

Didn't buy clutch springs, so can't really comment on them.

Bought some stuff off him from ebay, no problems there.

My stainless springs came from Casoli moto and they worked fine. Didn't notice any difference in tension but then you'd hope that whoever ordered the supplies made sure they were getting like-for-like but just in stainless rather than plain ol' rusty steel.

yeah i've bought clutch springs and decals from ducati1. Excellent service and items arrive ASAP...

Springs stayed shiny, don't know if there was any improvement??

Greetings chavman :)

Are there any others around these here parts?

Any 888 fanatics?

I am one of the swamp dwellers over on the beach.

Dougducati 17-Oct-2006 08:53

Not that many that are really local. I tend to head up Surrey way.

Nattyboy is yer man for 888's, he's over in Swindon.

A beach man hey! Very exclusive! Is the pool warm this time of the year?!
Do you kite surf? cos I need lessons

gary-g 17-Oct-2006 10:04

No pool i'm afraid, i use the big salty one with the wave machine instead!

Windsurfing and sailing yes, kitesurfing no.

Get over and see John Brown at Stormriders in Ferry Road, he'll sort you out.
